Update Payroll Solution

This option installs an update to the system. The update may have been sent directly to you or you may have downloaded it from the Payroll Solution website. The files included in the update will need to be extracted to a folder on your local system, or a folder which is accessible by your local system.

 

Warning: There should be no other users logged into the system and you should have all Payroll Solution windows closed prior to performing a backup.

 

To Install an Update


1.Select the File menu, then click Update Payroll Solution

2.Click Continue after acknowledging the warning message displayed

3.Select the folder containing the update files. Again, these should have been extracted to a folder accessible by your local system

 

The system will perform the update and will indicate either successful completion or report any errors encountered during the process.
