Use this option to provide mapping information from the external time and attendance system to work hours classification within Payroll Solution. This is necessary where the time and attendance system provides a code to classify the work hours as either regular hours, overtime hours (1.5), double time (2.0) or other pay types.
Note: This option is only available if you purchased a FULL license for Payroll Solution. If you have a LITE license you will need to upgrade to the FULL license before you can execute this option.
To Define Time Card Earning Codes
1.Select Setup, Company, Time Card Earning Codes
2.Enter the Earning Code as defined by the time and attendance system (this code is case sensitive)
3.Enter a description for this earning code
4.Select the earning type as either: Regular Hours, Overtime Hours, Vacation Hours, or Other Hours (which must be a defined Additional Earning)
Note: Double Time is defined as Other Hours and has an Additional Earning Code of DT
5.Click Save to record the definition
