Direct Deposits

If some or all of your employees are paid via direct bank deposits, you can have Payroll Solution create an electronic file containing the pay information which may then be sent the bank where the direct deposit is setup. Use this option to configure the direct deposits.

To Setup Direct Deposits

1.Select Setup, Company, Direct Deposits

2.Select the Bank from the list a supported Banks

3.Click the Configure button

4.Another window is opened with the setup required by the Bank specified in step 2 (this information will be furnished to you by the Bank).

5.Click OK when done

Account ID Formats

Example: for each bank below, let's say that an employee has a chequing account at Commonwealth Bank, main branch, Freeport, with an account number of 123456789

Commonwealth Bank's bank number is 021

The main branch, Freeport's branch number is 21105

ABA code for this branch is 211050218

Commonwealth Bank & RBC (Legacy Payroll Service):

routingTransitNo-accountType-employeeAccountNo

branch+bank (C or S)

Using our example above, the format Account ID would be 21105021-C-123456789

FCIB:

bankCode-branchCode-accountType-employeeAccountNo

3digits 5digits 1digit upto9digits

accountType: 1 = checking, 2 = savings

Using our example above, the format Account ID would be 021-21105-1-123456789

ScotiaBank:

ABACode/accountType/employeeAccountNo

ABACode is 9 digits and is comprised of 5 digit branch code, 3 digit bank code, and check digit

accountType: C = checking, S = savings

Using our example above, the format Account ID would be 211050218/C/123456789

RBC Business Pay:

employeeAccountNo@bank&branchName

Using our example above, the format Account ID would be 123456789@CWB Freeport

Note: RBCBusiness Pay format provides a list of the branch names to select from
