Payroll Solution initially installs as a 30 day or 30 use trial version. During this period the company name will appear as 'UNREGISTERED' on all reports, etc. After purchasing the software, a license file will be supplied which will be used to record the company name and serial number of the software and will remove the trial period restrictions.
To Register the Software
Select Setup, then System, then Register Payroll Solution
Browse to the location of the serialnumber.LIC file, and click Open
The registration information will be displayed, click Continue to perform the registration
Quit and restart Payroll Solution for the changes to take effect
Note: If you will be setting up multiple companies, you should perform the registration before creating the additional companies as the registration process will also register the default company.
